1. A feeling or emotion taken to the extreme
2. Strong inclination or interest in something
3. A state of emotional turmoil
4. Intense suffering or pain

“Feeling” has become a luxury. We say we don’t have time but we’re always hyper-connected. At a restaurant with friends, we’re on our phones. Kids, nephews in the living room, and there we are on Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, constantly swallowing whatever the algorithm throws at us without even chewing.

When was the last time something sparked real passion in us? The kind that transforms, that makes you want to share it with someone you care about. A special story that carried meaning.

Unknown Gold is a project about rediscovering passion for the things that truly move us: from a forgotten book, to a lesser-known classic film, from a new piece of writing that makes you breathe differently, to a song that stirs you, to a simple conversation with someone who shares something new with a sparkle in their eyes.

It’s a project that tries to avoid what’s already trending or already big. It’s about creating space to share what we love and what often remains unknown to most of us.
